The Critics

Critics are the part of every man's victory and the fruits of his hardwork. But the person who takes critics in a right way, he can rise his bar of achievements and can grow higher, but a man who takes in the other way keep frowning all his life.

One of my best outings

I promise to bring out to the scene, some of the privileged beauties and the extravagant features of Malenadu, through posts, snaps and writings.. One of the most amazing places which i have ever seen is,Honnemaradu. Its actually a village submerged under the Linganamakki Reservoir and is on the bank of the backwaters of river Sharavathi, well known for water sports , windsurfing and other similar sporties. We had an idea to reach honnemardu the day before, of my friend's Grihapravesham, but due to some reasons we had to stay back the night in my friend's place itself, which is almost 45km away from Honnemardu. We were a team of 12 boys very much thrilled to witness the beauty of the fascinating greenery and to get get into the place which was out of our world..

Its a fanatic for the hard core divers and adventurous people. We left my friend's place at 0530 hrs in the morning. That morning was too chilled out as it was the month of October. We had a hot cup of coffee and we left the place. The ride amidst the beautiful nature was very much amazing. We had the Sun rising to his zenith in front and the birds chirping indicating and wishing the day to be safe and prosperous alongside with the motoring sounds wich was a bit of noisy from us. We had a great friend of us Mr.Raghu staying there and we reached his place by 0630 hrz. He again made us to drink another cup of hot hot coffee which was very much needed for us. We warmed up around the fire which was put up to boil water. We got freshened up and went deeper into the Magic World. We got some great snaps of the morning, one which is in the center of the post. The greenery was mesmerizing as it was a place out of our world. We made it to the place the banks of backwater. All my friends shed their dresses and jumped into chilled water and the scream of unbearable cold came out of everybody's mouth and after a few of those we got set to that but still it was too cold.
We then heard somebody screaming at us to get out of waters.... suddenly a group of people came to us with smirk on their faces and a frowned looking big guy. The big guy came like whacking us into the waters again, but didn't happen so. He had come there to tell us about the danger of the waters there and how deep it was from a few feet away from the banks. He advised to get the life jackets and to get into water. We dint dare to do so and got back to Mr.Raghu's house and took bath and had a great breakfast prepared by him(bachelor). We were ready to experience a new activity and that's boating in the deep waters from the shore to the Island which is about 2km away from the shore. The boat started and we sailed through sharavathi with water on all sides. By then the sun was beating down very harshly and we had a mere outlook of the island from far and we reached the shore again. The boat journey lasted for an hour and was the most beautiful at the same time scary experience. We paid him the charges and we had to leave the place as we were getting late to attend the Grihapraveshavam..
We headed to Mr.Raghu's house and collected our baggage and conveyed our hearty thank to him for his homely treatment and it was a pleasure meeting him. We all left the place with no real reasons to leave so early, other than just getting into the mob there. The backward journey in contrast to the onward ride was very horrible and the beating down Sun made it real impossible. We somehow managed to get back in time and headed towards Lunch, which ended an exciting journey of us.
Not but not the last, I wanna thank my beloved Uncle, Mr. Sanjay Kumar E.V. who has been a great supporter in getting these outings a great value. He guided us , on how to go and where to stay and all. Hope he could be a great Guide for who ever needs help.. We are hoping to get still more of these from him. He'l be around us to help all the time.
